Confirmation

Confirmation enriches the baptized with the Holy Spirit, binding them more perfectly to the Church and strengthening them in their witness to Christ by word, deed and in their work to bring to its fullness the Body of Christ.

A minimum age of 16 has been established for the celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation.  Preparation usually begins in the fall and concludes after Easter. Please contact Karen Bushman at karen@secatholic.org or (414) 4810-0777, ext 117 for more information. 

The Adult Confirmation process is open to all practicing Catholics, 21 years of age and older, who have already received the Sacraments of Baptism and First Communion and who would like to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. Preparation begins a few months before the Adult Confirmation ceremony held at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist. Contact the Karen Bushman for information.
